A good sized fleet from all Classes set off in the strong and very gusty NNW breeze – RO advised no kites for safety – minimising call out probability. With following tide the fleet raced in record time to the Seven Star Finishing line – at the entrance to Beaulieu River.
An impromptu RV on the Green provided the location for socially distanced banter and provisional results . Overall winner was SkyKomish, our lowest rated boat crew by Bob and Mia Wheeler on their vintage Elizabethan.
Sunday morning provided an opportunity for a few photos en-route to the Start Line and thereafter. Many started with reefs and smaller headsails but Class ones sooner or later shook them out and even Shebeen tested an unusual 3-sail reach!
